Find Your Community: Peer Support and Empowerment
Thrive Community was born from peer support—and it remains our foundation. Whether you need emotional connection, practical advice, or a safe space to share your journey, our decentralized network of support groups, regular hangouts, and dedicated welfare visits is here for you.
We ensure that no warrior walks this path alone.
Our support network is decentralized to ensure location is not a barrier to care. These groups are peer-led, provide targeted psychosocial support, and meet regularly in various regions to create strong local bonds.
Monthly Nairobi Hangouts
Connection & Learning: Our flagship monthly gatherings are a vibrant mix of fun and education. Activities include coloring and games for mental relaxation, thoughtful learning sessions, and the Warrior Marketplace, where members and supporters promote warrior-led businesses to foster economic empowerment.
Welfare & Hospital Visits
Bringing Support to Your Doorstep: We understand that not all warriors can attend public events. We conduct regular Welfare Visits to facilities like the Autoimmune Wing at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) and homes to provide essential supplies, comfort, and the powerful reminder: Your community is with you
Mental Health & Expressive Arts
Addressing the Invisible Toll: We partner with licensed psychologists and art therapists to offer healing spaces, expressive art programs, and wellness tents at our events, providing essential support for the anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief that often accompany chronic illness.
